The Peer Exchange is designed as a practitioner-led platform to examine, at an operational level, the factors that constrain financing and uptake of green and transition lending among MSMEs. The Peer Exchange is envisioned as a sustained, practitioner-led platform to strengthen operational alignment between financial institutions and MSMEs through improved governance standards, better reporting practices, and clearer process expectations. Over time, this collaborative engagement is expected to support stronger practice adoption and contribute to the development of practical, climate-risk-aware green MSME lending approaches that can be piloted and scaled across institutions. This session addresses both MSMEs offering green solutions and real‑sector MSMEs that are transitioning operations and assets along credible decarbonization pathways.
